Based on the SmartBond DA14695 Bluetooth® low energy 5.2 system on chip (SoC), the DA14695MOD brings out all the DA14695 hardware features and capabilities, including a JEITA-compliant, USB Charger – ideal for rechargeable end products. The module integrates all passives, antenna, a 32Mbit QSPI FLASH and is supported by an easy-to-use software development suite.

The development kit includes a set of hardware (development board with an on-board debugger) and is supported by a Software Development Kit SDK (that is, a development toolchain, source code examples, and so on), and documentation.

The purpose of this guide is to provide an overview of the DA14695MOD ProDK and describe the setup of the hardware and installation of the software tools to fully use the module.

Section 7 and Section 8 describe the installation of the SmartSnippets™ DA14695 SDK software, along with all necessary tools.
Section 9 contains all steps for downloading and executing your first DA14695MOD application.
