5. DA14592 – USB-DEVKIT hardware
The USB-DEVKIT consists of a board featuring the DA14592 SoC, USB connector and a mikroBUS slot. More details about the DA14592 product family can be found in the DA14592 Datasheet.
5.1. The USB-DEVKIT board
Figure 1 illustrates the physical layout of the USB Development Kit.
- The USB-DEVKIT provides all necessary hardware to enable:
Full functional verification of the DA14592.
Full digital connectivity with external hardware using UART, SPI and I2C.
USB-based debugging capabilities using the SEGGER J-Link on-board debugger for Cortex M33 processor.
USB-based UART communication with the host PC using a Future Technology Devices International (FTDI FT2232H) chipset which converts UART to USB.

Some GPIO’s are routed to the MikroBUS connecter and can be used for monitoring GPIO and power signals.
