2. Prerequisites

To start the evaluation or project development on Renesas DA14535 product sets, the following tools are being used here however the process is same with other development kit:

• Hardware tools:

  • Computational workstation (for example, PC or Laptop)

  • 32-bit or 64-bit processor with 1 GHz processing speed

  • 1 GB RAM

  • 2 GB free disk space

  • DA14535-00FXDEVKT-P as a motherboard

  • DA14535 daughterboard 00FXDB-P Package

  • USB cable for power supply to the Pro Development kit and for on-board debugging

• Software tools:

  • Terminal software such as RealTerm, Putty, or Tera Term. This document uses Tera Term for its examples

  • SmartSnippets™ Toolbox or later, which can be installed on Windows

  • Software Development Kit (SDK)

  • KEIL MDK ARM

  • e² Studio

  • FTDI Driver for Windows

  • Segger J-Link SW driver

Hint

When SmartSnippets™ is installed, all the sub-component drivers and software tools needed for DA14535 development are also installed.
